In their first release since 2021’s Mood Valiant, Hiatus Kaiyote ends the first month of the year with their new single “Everything’s Beautiful.” After dropping breadcrumbs and teasing the single artwork on Instagram, the song was released on January 23rd via Brainfeeder Records.

“Everything’s Beautiful” is a testament to the importance of finding simple joy in your day… I wanted to write something very simple without complex, deep philosophical meaning like most of my writing tends to be,” lead singer, Nai Palm wrote via the group’s Instagram story. “It’s not the delusion that we live in a utopia out here on this planet, but rather about actively looking for the beauty, grace and joy in life.”

Alongside the single, the band also announced their live Melbourne show at The Evelyn Hotel, one of the band’s first formative venues. Stream now via their Youtube page below and stay tuned for more news on their upcoming project.
